Manasija Monastery, also known as Resava, is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located near Despotovac in central Serbia. Founded by Despot Stefan Lazarević between 1406 and 1418, it is one of the most significant monuments of medieval Serbian culture and belongs to the ＂Morava school＂ of architecture. April 28, 2026 We discovered a new destination: Ljubačke doline (Ljubacke doline), Bosnia-Herzegovina. Ethno village Ljubacke doline is designed and set as an open-air museum with the intention of showing the life of a community that used to inhabit this area, its traditional architecture, material culture, and furniture from the late 19th century and early 20th century. June 26, 2025 New destination added to our catalog: Tunnel of Hope, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Tunnel of Hope educates on 1990s Balkan conflicts, particularly on the siege of Sarajevo, often overlooked in mainstream history. Built secretly using shovels by Bosnian forces, the Tunnel facilitated the transport of food, fuel, weapons, and humanitarian aid. Visitors leave moved by the stark reality of war and inspired by human tenacity, making it a must-visit for history buffs and empathetic travelers alike. June 2, 2025 We have found a new place: Korçë (Korce), Albania. Korce (Korçë): Albania's vultural crossroads. Nestled in southeastern Albania near the Greek and North Macedonian borders, Korce is a high-altitude town surrounded by the Morava Mountains. Its crisp climate, cobblestone streets, and mix of Ottoman and European architecture make it a refreshing escape. Known as the ＂City of Serenades＂, it blends tradition with vibrant urban energy. April 30, 2025 We recently added a new place: Grgeteg, Serbia. The Grgeteg Monastery, one of several monasteries on the Fruska Gora mountain in northern Serbia, founded in 1471, is famous for its baroque church with intricate iconostasis. April 14, 2025 We added one more place: Llogara pass, Albania. The Llogara pass is a high mountain road within the Ceraunian Mountains along the Albanian Riviera. The road itself is a steep zigzagging road on the southern end of the mountains and is 1027 meters above sea level. The pass is the highest point on the main coastal road between Vlore and Sarande and is 31.5 km long. February 18, 2025 We discovered a new place: Bač (Bac), Serbia. Bač is a true treasure trove of authentic tourist attractions due to its turbulent centuries-old past with preserved cultural and historical heritage. The town's history is reflected in its well-preserved medieval fort, historic walled towns, and cultural monuments. The Bođani monastery and remains of the Turkish bath offer a glimpse into the town's rich cultural past. |
