Monterrasol Transfers: the conditions for our transfers

Here on this page we accumulate some general information related to transfers we offer.

Generally, our transfers included:

• transport with driver
• transport in minivan (as a rule) with air conditioner
• transportation for your group only, no foreigners
• English spoken driver
• door-to-door delivery
• optional sightseeing stops
• basic guidance on request during sightseeing stops
• help with luggage
• the cost of highway tolls
• the cost of ferry tickets for car and driver
• pick up from any place
• 20 min waiting time
• 60 min waiting time in airport or sea port

Generally, our transfers not included:

• food and drinks
• accommodation
• professional tour guide
• entry fees and tickets for you
• entry fees and tickets for driver if you request a guidance 
• ferry tickets for passengers
• travel insurance
• country visas
• tips and gratuities

The sequence of sightseeing stops, if any, is selected based on the transfer route. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Animals are not allowed. Not wheelchair accessible.

Price

The transfer's price is for a ride, not per person. The price includes costs of highway tolls and airport parking, if involved. In case of sightseeing stops, if any, the price includes side trip's extra distance.

Amount of people and luggage 

We at Monterrasol Transfers deal only with private car transfers. Gererally, all transfers we offer are for group 1 to 7 people. The size of group we able to transfer is depend on the luggage people have. We count that every person has 1 suitcase and 1 handbag. Under that conditions classic minivan (we usually use) comfortable fit no more than 4 people with described luggage. Obviously, more luggage will need less people in group. Excessive luggage or oversized items (like surfboards, skis, scuba diving equipment, golf equipment, bikes, etc.) may not fit in a car. Please consult with us on such cases prior to transfer.

Waiting time

The price of each transfer includes a 20 minutes waiting time. In airports or sea ports where paid parking is involved, the price includes a 60 minutes waiting time. If you think you will need more time or worry that your flight will be delayed and you will possibly miss your transfer, please suggest how much extra time you think you would need.

Languages

Each of our drivers speaks good English. Depending on the conditions and your requests, the driver can also speak Russian, Serbian, or Spanish. In cases of requested guidance during sightseeing stops, you can count on the same languages. Please request the needed language during the process of transfer ordering.

Kids and children

Our transfers are not prepared for kids. Our cars are not equipped with any kind of seats / busters for children; by the law we are unable to carry a child under 12 years old or less than 135 cm without child seat.

For people with kinetic / physical disabilities

Of course, the driver will help in normal human manner, but driver is just a driver. We at Monterrasol Transfers are not equipped to escort the transfer's participants with extreme difficulty in personal mobility. If you need a dedicated helper, you need to bring this person with you.

Some sightseeing places are not for wheelchairs. Please consult with us on the details of such places.

Generally, during sightseeing stops, the transfer's participants must be able to walk at least three city blocks of level distance unassisted and without stopping. Participants must be able to lift their legs to a height of at least 41 cm (16 inches). This is required not only to get in and out of the van with ease, but also because some sightseeing places have toll steps.

Travel insurance

The transfer's participants must have health, accident, and/or liability insurance that covers them in Europe. Each participant should bring with them copies of insurance documents or a letter from an insurance agent certifying insurance coverage for hospitalization in the countries included in the transfer route in case there is a need for medical services for any reason.

Health measures

Monterrasol Transfers has implemented health and hygiene protocols. Monterrasol Travel is the Safe Travels company. Our cars are regularly sanitized, and hand sanitizer is available to travelers and staff.

Payments for your transfer

The price for each transfer depends on the season and is clearly stated on the page. There are no hidden costs or fees. As a rule, reservation for transfer do not require a credit card, and no deposit or prepayment is needed. The payment for a transfer is cash only, given directly to the driver when the transfer starts. We reserve the right to ask for a deposit for uncommonly long transfers.
