Who we are

We, Monterrasol Transfers, are a small European company working in the tourism area. One of our specializations is transportation services for people, commonly known as transfers. We, at Monterrasol Transfers, specialize in long-distance private car transfers in the Balkans region.

What do we know

We know these countries in the Balkans: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia. We know the roads, well-known tourist attractions like UNESCO sites, and off-the-beaten-path places.

What do we offer

We offer private car transfers here in the Balkans region. Our transfers are door-to-door, city-to-city, inside one country and across different countries. Contrary to most companies offering transfers, we like to focus on long-distance transfers, including cross-border multi-country transfers across such countries as Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

What is also distinctive about us is that we offer transfers with sightseeing stops (short excursions) along the transfer route. For each transfer, it is possible to select one or a few sightseeing places and visit these places along the way. The driver will provide you with basic information about each place you decide to visit. Take it as a great option to get in touch with local culture and history.

As a rule, we use classic minivans capable of carrying up to 7 people. Our drivers are experienced, polite, English-speaking, open to communicating, and happy to provide information about tourist attractions along the transfer route.

Is it possible to stop for food?

The whole Balkans area has beautiful scenic roads; it is safe and a pleasure to take a road, and on the way there are a lot of interesting places where it is possible to have a short break, have a sightseeing stop, or just sit in a cafe with a nice view from a terrace. Feel free to talk with the driver, discuss the local food, and ask for suggestions on a nice place to eat.

Is it possible to have a private tour with you?

If you would like to have a private tour across one or a few countries, don't hesitate to contact us. We have developed numerous itineraries and have experience in private car tours in different Balkans countries, including tours passing across a few countries as one journey. The tour can be short, lasting only a few days, or as long as 30 days or more. Tours for seniors are also available. Solo travelers are welcome for real exclusive private solo tours.

We believe that the clients must really enjoy each destination without the rush, stress, and tight schedule that regrettably the big groups traveling in classic large buses are required to have. Based on that principle, we offer to travel in a private manner in a classic, comfortable minivan.

We listen to the wishes and suggestions of our clients. So, even if we are already on the road, we can re-arrange the original plan and, for example, stay more or less in some specific location if this is convenient and what our client wants.

Overall, we want everybody who decides to travel with us to feel welcome, comfortable, and have enough freedom to ask any kind of question or request. You can be sure that we will do our best to fulfill your wishes.
